I guess we're car shopping again
My wife has decided that she wants a new vehicle because apparently the two year old one that she drives now isn’t good enough for her anymore. I told her she can do whatever she wants but I’m not going to help her out this time. The last two times she told me what she wants and then I was the one that spent all the time online finding it for her. I am going to let her do it this time since she is in such a rush to get something else. She usually waits another year or more to trade in but I guess she doesn’t like what she is driving now. That would be a Toyota Rav 4 and is something I would keep and trade my vehicle in instead but not with the gas mileage it gets. I have a 30 mile commute one way to work and work 5 days a week so you can do that math to see how many miles a week I’m putting on my car.
I told her to narrow it down to 3 vehicles then let me know so I can check them over. I’ll go look at them with her at least and do things like compare auto insurance quotes on them for her. I am not going to totally abandon her on this or she’ll end up buying something way too expensive. I am sort of hoping she gets another SUV because I did enjoy driving the Rav 4 on the weekends.
She also mentioned that she wants to start thinking about getting a new TV for our living room. We have a pretty decent HDTV plasma (42 inches) but she wants something bigger. Her sister Mary recently got a 60 inch one so I know that is why. They are so weird about stuff like that. It is like one of them can’t get something without the other one feeling like they are trying to out-do them. I am almost certain that after she gets her new ride Mary will be shopping for a new car too. I should call my brother-in-law and give him a head’s up. His name is Paul and we get along pretty well. I would actually hang out with him more but they live like 2 hours away so I only see him when we get together or on holidays. He did invite me up to watch the Super Bowl so I am going to see him then.
